The Doors front man Jim Morrison's owned and worn brown suede jacket. From the collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager Irwin Pate. Pate was well-known in show business for over four decades. Over his long career, he and his wife Clarine Pate, obtained a large collection of personal clotting and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. When traveling on concert tours Irwin often would obtain many of these articles from both tour crew members or venue staff. According to Clarine, this brown suede jacket was left behind by Jim Morrison after a concert in the late 1960's. A venue employee kept it as a memento for several years. The employee eventually sold it to Irwin after he told him of his collection. Size 36. Very good vintage condition. Comes with a letter from Irwin's widow, Clarine Pate, on the Pater Entertainment, Inc. company letterhead, and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
