James Dean Rare Signed 1953 AFTRA Engagement Contract with NBC Television.

James Dean has beautifully signed, and written his telephone number and his social security number, to this AFTRA Engagement Contract with NBC television in a black steel-tip fountain pen.

Originally from the estate of James Dean's agent, Jane Deacy, the contract is dated Nov. 5, 1953, and is for Dean to perform for the Armstrong Circle Theatre on November 17, 1953 in the episode of "The Bells of Cockaigne."

The agreement is three pages on bifolium paper, folded at the top.

Dimensions: First page measures 8.5 x 11 inches.

Condition: Overall Very Good, with some light creasing and smudging to Dean's social security number.

Authentication: James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity, Nate Sanders "The James Dean Collection" Certificate of Authenticity, and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
