James Brown Owned and Worn Brown Patterned Scarf.

James Brown owned and worn brown pattered scarf, approx. 18.5 x 19, from the collection of famed booking agent Irwin Pate.

Irwin Pate, who worked with many rock and roll acts for over three decades, was James Brown's exclusive booking agent from the late 1960's to early the 1980's. In addition, the two were close friends, and Brown gifted Pate his stage and personally worn outfits and accessories, knowing that Pate was curating a large collection of items from the acts he worked with over the years.
