Jame's Brown's green and white terrycloth short-sleeved leisure top. This shirt comes from the collection of comes from the collection of renowned booking agent and promotional agent Irwin Pate, During his very long career, Irwin and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers that he worked with.

Irwin Pate worked as James Brown's booking and promotional manager in the 1960's and they continued to work together on occasion in the following years. They were also very close friends until James Brown passed away in 2006. Over the course of their business association and personal friendship, Irwin acquired several of James Brown's personal clothing and other belongings, including this green and white short-sleeved shirt.

Size: There is no label with a size, but we estimate it as a men's vintage large.

Condition: Very good.

Authentication: Letter from Irwin Pate's widow, Clarine Pate, and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
