James Brown Owned & Worn Caramel Brown Jacket. James Brown owned and worn light brown caramel-colored jacket from the Supreme Men's Shop in New York City.

James Brown gifted the jacket to Irwin Pate, his exclusive booking and promotional manager of fourteen years, from the late 1960's until the early 1980's. Irwin was also a close personal friend of James Brown, and Brown gave him some of his personal clothing and belongings over the years.

Condition: Very good, this is a vintage jacket and part of the lining inside is attached, but can easily be sewed back on. There is evidence that part of the lining on the opposite side of the jacket was hand-sewn back on.

Authenticity: Letter of provenance from Irwin Pate's widow Clarine Pate on "James Brown Productions" letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
