Dated April 28, 1961, the letter is accompanied by an unsigned carbon letter sent in return to Hoover in appreciation for his transmittal. This lot comes from the extensive personal collection of a life-long collector of Historical, Entertainment and Sports artifacts and memorabilia. The collector has amassed a virtually unmatched collection that is one of the largest we have ever seen.
