A signature archive of historical literary figures, including New York Times publisher Adolph Ochs. This archive consists of the following: an 1897 form letter seeking contributors signed in facsimile by New York Times publisher Adolph Ochs who purchased the money-losing paper one year earlier, a handwritten signed letter from The Chicago Tribune Washington correspondent Raymond A. Patterson dated April 13, 1893, a typed letter dated June 12, 1942 signed by W.A. White – editor and owner of The Emporia Gazette (Kansas), a typed letter signed by E.B. White of The Associated Publishers,Inc. and a signed photograph of clergyman and author Norman Vincent Peale who popularized the concept of positive thinking.

Dimensions: Sizes range from 8.5 in x 5.5 in to 8 in x 11 in.

Condition: One page of the Ochs letter has a torn corner otherwise collection is in overall good condition.
