A UK promotional vinyl pressing of the 1987 Guns N Roses debut single ‘It’s So Easy/ Mr. Brownstone’ that has been autographed by the group on the front cover in black felt tipped pen. The autographs were signed for a given to the general manager of the Marquee club, London, England after the group made their debut appearances un the UK at the club on 19th, 22nd and 28th June 1987 one month prior to the release of ‘Appetite For Destruction’. As the album was signed for the manager of the club each member of the group has added a really great inscription. Axl Rose has written ‘DON’T KILL DOGS – W. AXL ROSE’, Slash has written ‘NO SLEEP TILL HAMMERSMITH! D+T+U+D’, Duff has written ‘= BUSH!???= MY PAL ‘O’ PALS WHY AM I SIGNING THIS?!!!! GRISWALDS RULE!!! DUFF’, Izzy Stradlin has written ‘YO MANG’. Slash’s comment is perhaps the most interesting as Guns N Roses would not appear at the Hammersmith Odeon, London until 8th October 1987, the second part of Slash’s inscription means ‘Drink till you drop’. The single comes with a letter from the original recipient that reads ‘my name is Ian ‘Bush’ Telfer. I was General Manager and Booking Manager of The London Marquee Club, at 90 Wardour Street London W1. I booked Guns N’ Roses on June 19th, 22nd, 28th 1987. Their introduction to Europe and the rest of the world. On the final night before the show they presented to me backstage with the attached fully signed record as a thank you for putting them on’. A must-have for any serious collector. The condition is very good plus. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
