Grateful Dead Jerry Garcia Owned & Worn Patchwork Blue Denim Pants. From the personal collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades, Irwin Pate, and his widow Clarine Pate, this is Grateful Dead's front man Jerry Garcia's personally owned and worn blue denim patchwork pants.

Irwin Pate promoted talent all over the U.S. and during his career he and his wife obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. According to the detailed letter of provenance that accompanies the jacket, Irwin knew Jerry Garcia and worked with him on a few occasions. It was during one of his meetings with Jerry that Irwin told him about his collection, and Jerry then gave Irwin some items for collection, including these blue denim patchwork pants. The pants remained in the collection of the Pates for many years.

Size: The label inside the pants says size "XL", but this is an XL from a different time then we are living in now. The pants are not huge, we would estimate them at more of a men's Medium.

Condition: Very Good.

Authentication: Letter of provenance from Irwin Pate's widow Clarine on Pate Entertainment, Inc. letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
