Historic sports journalist and announcer Grantland Rice (d. 1954) signed and dated this page printed with a poetic verse. An influential figure in his field, in 1922 Rice became the first play-by-play announcer carried live on radio for the World Series game. Excellent condition. 6.5 X 9.
