George Harrison Owned and Used Hand-Forged Brass and Hand-Painted Hindu God Ganesh.
This extraordinarily beautiful hand-forged brass statue of the Hindu God Ganesh, hand-painted in beautiful, striking colors was owned and used by the Beatles George Harrison. According to the detailed Certificate of Authenticity that accompanied the statuette, Ganesh was George's favorite deity believing it to be a removal of al obstacles, and he used the symbol of the elephant god on his personal letterhead, cards, books and other projects. In addition to the statuette is a hand-made brass set upon which Ganesh sits. George carried this statue with him as it was compact enough for his personal devotions while on the road traveling to various locations, especially in India. George later gifted the statue to a devotee with whom he had a long, intimate association.
