This George Harrison owned and worn Lord & Taylor heavy brown leather jacket (with the Lord & Taylor label on the inside of the collar), comes from the personal collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades, Irwin Pate, and his widow Clarine Pate.

Irwin promoted talent all over the U.S. and during his career he and his wife obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. According to the detailed letter of provenance that accompanies the jacket, Irwin knew George Harrison and worked with him on a few occasions. It was during one of his meetings with George that Irwin told him about his collection, and George then gave Irwin some items for collection, including this leather jacket..The jacket remained in the collection of the Pates for many years.

Condition: Good vintage condition, shows some wear.

Authentication: Letter of provenance from Irwin Pate's widow Clarine on Pate Entertainment, Inc. letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
