George Harrison owned and played wooden dulcimer guitar. From the collection of the late Irwin Pate who passed away in May of 2018. Pate was a renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades. He promoted talent all over the United States. During his career, Pate, and his wife Clarine Pate, obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Pate knew George Harrison and worked with him on a handful of occaasions. During one of their meetings Pate told Harrison about his collection and Harrison then arranged to have some of his items delivered to Pate, including this wooden dulcimer guitar. Measures approximately 36" in length and 3" in width (including fret board). Comes with a letter from Pate's widow, Clarine Pate, on PBA Pate Booking Agency letterhead stating that this instrument was owned and used by George Harrison, and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
