George Harrison Owned & Played Japanese Hand Drum.

George Harrison's owned and played Japanese hand drum with the painted red and black Yin/Yang signs on both sides. The drum has a small metal handle that is attached to it.

Provenance: This beautiful George Harrison owned and used Japanese hand drum comes from the personal collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades, Irwin Pate, and his widow Clarine Pate, who built an impressive collection personal and stage worn clothing, and other articles, belonging to numerous entertainers. Irwin knew George Harrison and worked with him on a few occasions. During one of their meetings, Irwin told George about his collection and George gave him several items including this drum. The drum was then in the Pate's personal collection for many years.

Condition: Very good.

Size: Diameter is approximately 8.5 in and the width is 3 in.

Authentication: Letter from Irwin's widow Clarine Pate on Pate Entertainment, Inc. letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
