Frank Sinatra Signed Jilly's Menu

In the 1960s, Jilly’s was considered the swingingest restaurant to hang out in in New York City. Its menu even read “the ‘groovy-est’ STEAKS for the hungry-est’ swingers!” Famous actor and crooner Frank Sinatra was personal friends with the owner, Ermenegildo ‘Jilly’ Rizzo, and would frequent the place often.

Presented here is one of Jilly’s famous tri-fold menus showing all the standard fare that was offered at the restaurant. Sinatra even gave his permission to use his facsimile signature on one of the menu’s sides and this particular copy captures an authentic, personalized Sinatra signature on the same section. Written in black ink, it reads: “Barry! Swing, Frank Sinatra.” This 1960s souvenir menu from Jilly’s, in orange and cream stripes, perfectly captures the fun and excitement of hanging out at the popular establishment.

Condition: Very Good.

Authentication: A Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
