Frank Sinatra Owned & Worn 1977 L.A Dodgers Jacket.
A W.A. Goodman & Sons brand Los Angeles Dodgers dugout jacket worn by Frank Sinatra.
The blue jacket features the "Dodgers" team logo at center in white tackle twill script lettering. The jacket features a blue elastic collar, cuffs and waistband, with two white stripes on each. Stitched into the interior of the jacket is a W.A. Goodman & Sons manufacturing tag listing the jacket's size as "42."
Stitched into the back of the jacket is "Sinatra" in arched white tackle twill lettering. The style of the Goodman tag places the jacket's manufacture in the 1973-81 period.
Provenance: From the collection of Dodgers manager Tom Lasorda. Per Tom’s wife, Jo, the family acquired the jacket directly from the Sinatra family upon Frank Sinatra’s death.
Sinatra sang the national anthem at Dodger Stadium on Opening Day of the 1977 Dodgers season. While it is not known if he wore this exact jacket while singing the anthem, this was definitely Sinatra’s jacket.
Condition: Good condition.
Authentication: Letter of Provenance and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
