Fleetwood Mac Band Signed Gibson SG Guitar.
Fleetwood Mac band members Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Rick Vito and Billy Burnette have all signed this beautiful Gibson SG guitar in a silver sharpie.
The signatures are immaculate and present incredibly.
The guitar has an incredible story being signed, per the consignor: “I had worked with Fleetwood Mac, so I knew them. They invited me to their show and I was in the dressing room hanging out with them. We were talking about old times as they signed the guitar. Stevie seemed to be in her “enchanted” mode. She was holding the guitar and trying to decide where to sign it. She seemed in a daze. 20 minutes later, the roadies came in to tell her it was time to get ready to go on stage. She took her time signing the guitar and one of the roadies finally gently took her by the shoulders and led her away. I won’t say that any of this surprised me, having spent time with her in the past.”
Provenance: From the collection of a former Music Executive. Lots 76 to 100 and Lots 499 to 803 in this auction are consigned by one vendor, who worked with and met various artists from 1985-1992. All the items were personally obtained by the vendor. This is the best in-person collection we have ever handled as an auction company.
