Eric Clapton Played & Signed Clapton Signature Model Green Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Fender Hard Case All Tags
Eric Clapton has signed and played this "Clapton" signature model Fender Stratocaster green electric guitar serial number #10-7602-5. This signature model was made in 1990 and Clapton has beautifully signed the body "Eric Clapton 90" in silver paint pen. The signed guitar comes with all of its original tagging as well. It is accompanied by the original Fender hard case it came in.
Per the consignor, the story how he acquired the guitar is as follows: “I had done extensive work with Eric Clapton. When Fender started making the Eric Clapton model Stratocaster, I contacted Eric and asked him if I could get my hands on one, since they were all sold-out locally. He told me that they were sold-out everywhere but he would order one from Fender and tell them to put a rush on it. He told me he would get it for me at his cost and asked what color I wanted. I told him to pick his favorite color. He picked this really great metallic shade of green. Eric signs the headstock of all of his signature model guitars, but I asked him to please also sign it on the body, which he did. He called to let me know it was on the way and said he played it to make sure it was up to standards. It still has the tags on it and was never played by anyone except Eric”.
