Offered here is Eric Clapton's owned and played Fender Stratocaster Sunburst Guitar that was given to Chris Barber in 2005. This incredible piece of blues history is a Fender Stratocaster sunburst guitar which was owned and played by the English "Guitar God", Eric Clapton, made in the early 2000s. According to the accompanying letter of provenance, this guitar was given by Clapton to another iconic English musician, Chris Barber, after Clapton's show at Wintershall Estate on June 11, 2005, at which Barber was a special guest. Eric Clapton was known to favor the Fender Stratocaster guitar throughout the 1970s, 80s and 90s, and his famous "Blackie" guitar became the most expensive guitar sold at the time when it was sold for nearly $1 million in 2004. The guitar will come with the letter of provenance from the previous owner, who acquired it in 2008 from Chris Barber. This is a wonderful piece of guitar history from one of the most important and influential guitarists of all time. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
