Elvis Presley's original first owned worn sunglasses - the ones that inspired a fashion legacy! These silver aviator sunglasses with gray tinted lenses and temple arm stamped "made in France" are the sunglasses that originally inspired Elvis in what would become his passion to create his trademark sunglasses. The sunglasses come with a letter of provenance from Lamar Fike, who discovered these in a gas station. When Elvis saw him wearing them he asked Lamar to go back and purchase as many as he could for him. Elvis eventually had them copied at Optique Boutique. The sunglasses offered here are the second or third pair that Lamar gave to Elvis according to his letter of provenance. Lamar was one of Elvis' closest friends for 25 years until his untimely death in 1977, Lamar was still with Elvis at that time. Very good condition. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
