Elvis Presley "Girls! Girls! Girls!" film-used Harmony H165 Mahogany acoustic guitar. This guitar comes with a letter from Alan Fortas who states in his letter that this guitar was played by Elvis during several scenes in the Paramount Pictures movie "Girls! Girls! Girls!" The first scene where Elvis is playing it is during their scene in the fishing boat, in which Fortas also appeared, sitting next to him in the boat. Elvis used two different guitars in this film, one was this Harmony mahogany acoustic guitar and the other was a Gibson acoustic guitar. According to Fortas, most of the time after they completed a movie, Elvis would take the guitars home with him either to keep or to give to some of the guys. This guitar is stamped inside of the sound hole with a Paramount Pictures property stamp, "Prop Department" and, like most of Elvis' movie guitars, it had the manufacturer's name blacked out. When they finished the movie Elvis gave Fortas the guitar. The guitar comes with a photo of the boat scene, showing Elvis and Fortas, that has been signed by Elvis that he also inscribed "to Hog Ears" which was one of Elvis' nicknames for him. In addition to the signed and inscribed photograph and the letter from Alan Fortas, the guitar also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll® Certificate of Authenticity.
