This is Elvis Presley's owned and worn red high collar IC. Costume shirt. This high collar shirt with elastic at the sleeves and forearms has an I.C. Costume Hollywood, California label and Elvis can be seen wearing the shirt during his MGM film, "Elvis On Tour" wile in the studio performing the song "Separate Ways" (a song written by his bodyguard and close friend Red West). The shirt is accompanied by a white nylon scarf that Elvis wore wrapped around his neck during the period. Elvis would use 14kt gold tie tacks to secure the front, and the tie tack accompanying this scarf is a 14kt gold serpentine snake with ruby eyes. Comes with photographs of Elvis wearing this ensemble in the studio while recording in the film. The shirt is in very good condition. The scarf has a 1" in diameter hold in one corner with a 3.5" surface tear and a few very small black marks. This lot comes with an original I.C. Costume Co. wooden hanger and a letter of provenance from Elvis' cousin Harold Loyd as well as a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
