Elvis Presley Owned and Worn Black Leather Café Racer Vintage Jacket.
Elvis Presley's owned and worn black leather cafe racer vintage jacket made by "Nudies" of Hollywood. One of Elvis's favorite clothes-makers, Nudies designed Elvis' "Millionaire Suit" for the film "Clambake," some of Elvis' wardrobe for the film "Loving You" as well as Elvis' famous $10,000 gold lamé suit. This black leather vintage motorcycle Nudies jacket has a zip-up front with two zippered chest pockets as well as zippered sleeves. The jacket bears a "Nudies" label. Elvis is shown here in a color photograph of wearing the jacket, or one virtually identical to it , in the early 1960's. Of particular note: inside the left chest pocket is one of the famous "tiny wood tipped cigars" that Elvis used to smoke! Evidently left in the pocket by Elvis!
Provenance: From the collection Elvis' Uncle Vester Presley (his father's brother). Vester worked for Elvis full time at Graceland starting in 1957, where he was the chief of security at the famed Graceland gates. Elvis gifted the jacket to his Uncle Vester, and it was after the leather jacket was in his possession that he found that Elvis had left one of his small wood tipped cigars that he used to smoke often. The jacket remained in Vester's possession for many years.>br>
Condition: With some vintage wear, overall very good condition.
Authentication: Letter of provenance from Elvis's uncle Vester, a Real Game Used (RGU) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
