Elvis Presley owned and worn brown leather boots. Boots were made by Verde. Good condition. Slight wear. Elvis wore these boots during the summer of 1969 at the International Hotel in Las Vegas. Elvis's performance at the the famed hotel marked his first live performance in 8 years after taking a break from music to focus on his movie career. Known as the "King of Rock and Roll," Presley is regarded as one of the most important figures of 20th-century popular culture. Nominated for 14 competitive Grammys, he won three, and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at age 36. He has been inducted into multiple music halls of fame. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from his close friend Charlie Hodge (whom he gifted the boots to), and a photograph of Elvis in the same, or very similar, boots. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity. No buyer's premium.
