Elvis Presley's Custom-Made White Leather Turquoise Belt Made and Signed by Mike McGregor with Provenance. This white leather turquoise belt was custom made for Elvis Presley by blacksmith and leather craftsman, Mike McGregor, and bears the instantly recognizable style that was favored by Elvis in the early 1970s. This iconic piece is crafted of white leather with silver-tone studs and chains, and finished with an oversized buckle with turquoise and silver-tone trim. The back of the belt buckle is signed "Hand made by Mike McGregor". The belt was given by Mike McGregor to a friend of Elvis’s. Per the consignor, “When my grandfather passed away, he left me Elvis belt that he received directly from Mike McGregor. One night, when Elvis was having a concert in Memphis, my Grandfather met someone by the name of Mike McGregor. After befriending him, he asked Mike if he could take on of the belts that was backstage for Elvis to use, and Mike gave him this turquoise belt, and signed it. It has been in my family ever since”. The belt shows wear and is a must-have piece for any Elvis fan. Elvis can be seen wearing similar belts in various pictures.
