Offered here is Elvis Presley's personally owned and worn 14 kt gold ring with a single solitaire diamond ring that he gave directly to a venue employee after a concert. The employee later sold the ring to renowned entertainment booking agent and promotional manager Irwin Pate. Irwin Pate had a long, and illustrious career spanning over four decades where he worked with many of the world's most famous entertainers.
Provenance: This 14kt gold diamond solitaire ring comes directly from the personal collection of Irwin and Clarine Pate. During his long career, Irwin and his wife Claire amassed a truly impressive collection of items from entertainers, sometimes directly from the artist, and sometimes from the venue in which they performed. According to the detailed letter from Clarine that accompanies this ring, Elvis gave this ring to a venue employee in the mid-1970's after a concert. Several years later, the employee sold it to Irwin after he told him of his collection, and it has been in the Pate's collection ever since.
