Elvis Presley is pictured here with then girlfriend Anita Wood preparing to drive from his home to join his Army outfit at Ft. Hood in this 10 x 8 black and white original wire photograph. The wire story, dated September 21, 1958 appears on the front and the photo credits are stamped on the verso. According to the story, Anita refused to face the camera because she had been crying. Overall very good condition, there is red pen markings on the front in the margin. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
