Elvis Presley's NBC TV Special worn custom made gold lamé tuxedo jacket. This jacket was custom made for Elvis and is the only designed item Bill Belew made for the NBC TV special that Elvis didn't want to wear because he  hated the gold Lame suit Nudie had made in the 1950's. Once Bill explained Elvis would be wearing black pants with it and it would only be on screen for about 15 seconds Elvis relented and wore it. With label reading International Costume Co. Hollywood, California.  Also with  "Belew" ( faded) handwritten in job  section and "Elvis' name (faded) handwritten on the label. Next to the black leather suit and the white  "If I can Dream" suit, this is one of the most iconic  wardrobe pieces from Elvis' special. Very good condition. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Bill Belew, a letter of provenance from his close friend Charlie Hodge (whom he gifted the jacket to) and photographs of Elvis wearing the jacket. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
