Elvis Presley's film played Gibson sunburst LG1 acoustic guitar that is stamped inside the sound hole with a MGM stamp and Elvis' name also stamped inside the sound hole. The Gibson logo had been painted over at one time as was usual for movie used guitars. The paint has flaked off over the years and the Gibson logo is still visible. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Charlie Hodge on his personal letterhead. Charlie who took care of Elvis' guitars including many of Elvis' MGM films used such as this particular model. Charlie took the guitar home after filming wrapped one day, but Charlie was not sure of which MGM it was from. Very good, vintage, film-used condition. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
