This black beaded kaftan robe was purchased by Elvis for his girlfriend, Ginger Alden. Elvis and Ginger had matching robes, and Elvis' one can be seen in the book, Elvis Fashion. Elvis had blue, green, red and brown versions of kaftans similar to this one. The kaftan is accompanied by a letter of provenance from Ginger Alden where she states that it was hand picked and purchased by Elvis when they were in Hawaii, on his last vacation, in March 1977. She states that he picked out a matching blue robe at the same time for himself which he loved and often wore at Graceland. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
