Elvis Presley signed this military leave pass while he was stationed in Germany in 1958. The documents grants him an overnight leave of absence from noon on October 4 til midnight of October 5. The document originally came from the estate of a retired military commander who has it in his possession since shorty after it was signed. The signature of the commanding officer appears to be a carbon signature and is heavily faded. However, the Elvis' signature is not a carbon signature, it is his actual signature. It appears the officer had Elvis hand-sign each copy of the document as opposed to only signing the top form - not surprising given Elvis' fame and popularity at that time. Measures 11cm x 17cm. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
