A lot of four signatures of former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, including three signed FDC envelopes commemorating her husband, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Each envelope is posted with the first day of issue of three different denomination FDR postage stamps. 6.5 X 3.625. The fourth signature appears on the back of a postcard from a Poughkeepsie New York Lounge/restaurant. 5.5 X 3.5. Two unsigned envelopes are included with this lot, one posted from the White House (1933) and the other posted FREE from her home in Hyde Park, NY. Eleanor served as the first lady of the United States from 1933 to 1945, during her husband President Franklin D. Roosevelt's four terms in office.
