Never played, except by Eddie and in Original Condition right down to the strings, "Peavey EVH Wolfgang Edward Van Halen Guitar" – Ivory (1996), autographed by Eddie Van Halen.

This guitar came about as part of the 1996 NAMM Guitar Giveaway that was supposed to involve a prototype R/B/W Striped EVH Wolfgang Prototype as the giveaway guitar, in turn it was later decided for licensing reasons to be replaced by one of these early guitars.

This is one of those first hundred guitars inspected and played by Eddie, Serial Number 91000034 (34th guitar made), many of which were given away to high profile individuals related to the music industry. The guitar was acquired in 1999 through the winner of the giveaway, a representative of a music store in Quebec, Canada, and has spent all of its life (22 years) stored in the original guitar case, except for a period of time while being displayed in an enclosed display case for 5 years.

This is a RARE collector’s piece and is in “As New” MINT CONDITION. The Hardware, Body, Neck, Frets, and Headstock which only has Eddie’s engraved signature are one of a kind. There are no apparent marks on the guitar.

Provenance: This guitar comes from a collector of Van Halen Guitars of over 25 years.

Authentication: Roger Epperson (REAL) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
