Early American Display Flags (2).The smaller flag was handmade and has 13 stars. According to the handwriting on the left edge of the flag, back and front, this flag was handmade by Sarah M. Wilson, the great-granddaughter Betsy Ross and it was displayed at the East Wing of Independence Hall, Philadelphia, July 15th, 1908.

The larger flag bears 46 stars and does not appear to be handmade. There is a half-inch tear on the left side at the edge in the blue area.

Dimensions: Small handmade flag measures approximately 9 in x 5.5 in. The larger flag measures 12 in x 8 in.

Condition: The smaller flag is in very good condition, the larger one is in fair/good condition with the tear on the left side and a couple of creases where it had been folded.

Authenticity: Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
