Sourced from an international contact with close ties to the Yugoslavian National Team, this jersey was worn for the Yugoslavian National Team All-Star/Recruitment game which was a yearly prestigious event during the 1980s. Only the top youths were invited to compete including Dražen Petrovic, making it possibly the earliest worn Petrovic jersey known. On the inner rear collar is the remnants of the manufacturer’s tag. On the left chest and on back is the player number “4”. On the right chest are two white strip tags, one with the official “McDonald’s” logo printed in yellow and black and the other with the official “Coca-Cola” logo printed in red. Adjacent below is the partially covered “adidas” logo screenprinted in white. Across the front is a basketball going through the net with “YU Basket BEOGRAD”. Across the back reads “MARKETING UNION BEOGRAD”. All lettering and numbering is done in faded white screenprint. "Beograd" = Belgrade, the capital and largest city of Serbia (formerly Yugoslavia). The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Petrovic traditionally wore #4 for the Yugoslavian National Team. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
