Dr Seuss drew this original two-panel concept sketch with text boxes and dialogue in the 1970s. The illustration comes from an animator at Depatie-Freleng Studios, a company that Theodor Geisel (Dr. Seuss) would frequent.

"Dr. Seuss" is perhaps the most famous children's author and illustrator of all time. His stories have been translated into dozens of languages and sold over 600 million copies worldwide. This piece shows a unique inside look into how Dr Seuss crafts stories and characters and has two beautifully composed and coloured illustrations.
Most importantly, the famous "red fish" was drawn by Dr. Seuss. "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" is a 1960 children's book by Dr. Seuss. By 2001, Geisel had sold over six million copies of the book, placing it 13th on Publishers Weekly list of "All-Time Bestselling Children's Books".
