Among the named subjects are: Frederick William III (King of Prussia), Victor Emanuel (King of Sardinia), William 1st (Emperor of Prussia), Marie Antoinette, Princess Charlotte of Wales, John Keats (Author), Samuel Slater (Father of American Cotton Manufacture), Hon. Jos. A. Wright (US Minister at. Berlin), Rev. Nathan Bangs, and Alfonso XII (King of Spain). About twenty are art engravings picturing scenes with more than one subject. Most others are identified by individual subject name.
