A collection of more than 20 documents and letters, with several pertaining to real estate but also including a German baptismal certificate dated 1844 and German birth certificate dated 1832 among other of the artifacts that are foreign and including court summonses (New Hampshire), financial receipts, personal correspondence; a booklet titled “The Method of Liturgical Revision” signed by philanthropist, lawyer and former US House Speaker and US Senator Robert Charles Winthrop; well done handwritten pages of a periodical titled “The Pearl” devoted to science and general literature (perhaps a school assignment); an 1882 Treasury Department letter to Attorney General Brewster signed by Secretary of the Treasury Charles Folger; a group of unidentified cut signatures (5.5 X 2 – 6 X 7.5); 1903 utility receipt Washington Gas-Light Company (Washington D.C.); 1845 receipt for a Remington bicycle and an 1887 newsprint publication titled, “The Hornet” (Waterbury, Connecticut). Sizes vary.

Condition: Good, vintage.
