Chris Squire Owned and Worn “Hold Out Your Hand” Kimono and Pants.
YES guitar player Chris Squire kimono and pants worn in the video for “Hold Out Your Hand” circa 1975. An ivory silk kimono with painted/embroidered Chinese-style floral and other motifs overall; together with a pair of ivory satin trousers, a pale green Oriental-style shirt and pale green sash. Squire was known for wearing outfits like this, but they are very scarce and hard to come by. This stage worn kimono outfit was displayed in the Hard Rock Café for a period of time and can be seen worn throughout the band's iconic "Hold Our Your Hand" video, as shown here.
