Offered here is this incredible 1979 Gretsch Tennessean that was owned and heavily used by Chris Cornell notably of the band Soundgarden.
This guitar was used extensively by Chris Cornell to record songs in the 1991 album “Badmotorfinger" & the 1994 smash “Superunknown" album; and finally featured in Soundgarden's iconic “Rusty Cage" & “Fell on Black Days" Music Videos.
This guitar has extremely strong provenance, with the serial number 29279 being fully documented by the superior court of Washington for King County and is unequivocally by law confirmed to be Chris Cornell's. It's stated this specific guitar was his favorite and he often kept it at his home.
