30th President of the United States Calvin Coolidge has signed this letter typed on his Governor’s Office letterhead using a black fountain-tip pen. The letter is dated December 26, 1919 and also bears a stamp from the Chief Secretary with the same date. Coolidge served as the Governor of Massachusetts from 1919 to 1921 before becoming Vice-President and then finally President in 1923. Good condition, ink has faded. Measures 7.5” x 10.5”. This lot comes from the extensive personal collection of a life-long collector of Historical, Entertainment and Sports artifacts and memorabilia. The collector has amassed a virtually unmatched collection that is one of the largest we have ever seen. Comes with a letter From Gotta Have Rock and Roll.com stating that it was sold in the Gotta Have History Winter Auction, February 16-25, 2022.
