Bob Dylan Original 1970's Artwork for Concert Advertisement.
In 1973 Bob Dylan formed his own record label called "Ashes and Sand, Inc. This is the original artwork created for his March 18 and 19 shows at the Detroit Opera House in Michigan. The concert most likely took place close to 1973, probably in 1974. The artwork consists of two black and white portrait photos on glossy paper of Dylan, with his name on each, and the actual mock up for the advertistement with this picture, his company Ashes and Sand Inc., Presents handwritten in pencil, and the venue, dates, and ticket prices also handwritten in pencil. Information on where to obtain tickets is in newsprint. This special, one-of-a-kind original concert artwork is accompanied by two newspaper ads for Bob Dylan concerts, from the same period.
Dimensions: The advertisement mock-up measures approximately 4 in x 4.5 in, the mock up pictures measure 2.75 in x 3.75 in and 4.5 in x 3.5 in.
