Bob Dylan Original 1969 Isle of Wight Festival of Music Original Season Ticket Flyer. The 1969 Summer of Love continued that summer with The 1969 Isle of Wight Festival of Music in England, which place over the course of two days, Saturday August 30 and Sunday August 31, 1969. Headlining the festival were Bob Dylan and The Band. Other bands that performed include Richie Havens, The Who, the Moody Blues, Joe Cocker and many ohers! The famed 1969 Woodstock Music Festival had just taken place only a few weeks prior! Some of the same bands played at both festivals (Dylan did not end up performing at Woodstock, The Band did).
Offered here is a vintage flyer from the period announcing the festival picturing Dylan in the center with smaller images of The Band above his pictue. The details of the festival, inlcuding how to get there, and how to order a ticket (tickets were sold in advance only according to the flyer). Accompanying this original flyer is an orignal "Season Ticket" for the two-day festival, showing the line-up for each day.
Dimensions: The paper flyer measures 5 in x 10 in, and the vibrantly colorful ticket measures approximately 6.75 in x 4 in.
Condition:Overall very good condition on both pieces. The flyer has a small white mark and a vert tiny stain next to the pinprick at the the top where it had originally been hung up. The ticket has four pinpricks at one end where it had also been hung up, most likely next to the flyer, by the fan who owned them.
