Bob Dylan Handwritten Lyrics for “Blowin' in the Wind”.

Dylan's iconic 1962 protest song, 'Blowin' in the Wind'

Sought-after handwritten lyrics by Bob Dylan for his iconic protest song, "Blowin in the Wind," one page, 6 x 8.25, St. Regis of New York letterhead, written in black ballpoint and signed neatly at the conclusion, "Bob Dylan, 2011."

The lyrics, in full: “How many roads must a man walk down / Before you call him a man / How many seas must a white dove sail / Before she sleeps in the sand / How many times must the cannonballs fly / Before they’re forever banned / The answer my friend / is blowing in the wind / The answer is blowing in the wind.

How many years must a mountain exist / Before it is washed to the sea / How many years must some people exist / Before they’re allowed to be free / How many times must a man turn his head / And pretend he just does not see / The answer my friend is blowin in the wind / The answer is blowing in the wind.

How many times must a man look up / Before he can see the sky / How many ears must one man have / Before he can hear people cry / How many deaths will it take ‘til he knows / That too many people have died / The answer my friend is blowing in the wind / The answer is blowing in the wind.”

In very fine condition.

Accompanied by a 2014 letter of authenticity from Jeff Rosen, president of the Bob Dylan Music Company, which reads: "I represent Bob Dylan. This letter will certify that the hand-written lyrics to Blowin’ in the Wind, contained herein, is an authentic Bob Dylan manuscript, signed and dated in his own hand.”

Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
