Billy Sunday Signature Cut (Baseball Player Turned Preacher)

Attractive autograph of Billy Sunday cut from an autograph album page and inscribed with “Psalm 34,” a section from the Book of Psalms appearing in the Bible. Billy Sunday famously played professional baseball before becoming one of the most influential preachers in America during the first decades of the 20th Century. Sunday debuted with the Chicago White Stockings in 1883 and last appeared with the Philadelphia Phillies in October, 1890 before converting to the Christian ministry in the late 1880s.
