Bill Graham Owned Jimi Hendrix Original "Flying Eyeball" Fillmore West Concert Ticket.

This is famed concert promoter Bill Graham's personally owned Jimi Hendrix "Flying Eyeball" concert ticket that came from his personal collection of concert memorabilia. According the letter of provenance that accompanied this ticket, Graham gave the ticket to his friend Chris Kelly in 1982. Kelly worked for many years as a Global Artist Liaison Manager for many of the world's leading musical companied, and he was a good friend of Graham's. This Jimi Hendri Concert with Albert King at the Fillmore West in San Francisco was just one of the many legendary concerts that Graham promoted.

Bill Graham, a legendary name in 1960's rock, made famous the Fillmore and Winterland Ballroom; these turned out to be a proving grounds for rock bands and acts of the San Francisco Bay area including the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, and Big Brother and the Holding Company with Janis Joplin. The Jimi Hendri "Flying Eyeball" poster, handbill and ticket were designed by famed poster artist Rick Griffin, and it is one of the most sought after psychedelic rock posters.

The ticket has been attached to a small wooden plaque, with a small black and gold plaque attached on the front reading "Fillmore West Jimi Hendrix." There is a thick, clear pastic cover that has been screwed on to the plaque, coverning the ticket.

Dimensions: The ticket itself measures 2.5 in x 4.5 in, and the wooden plaque measures 6 in x .5 in x 8 in.

Condition: Good. The ticket is lightly faded and has been attached to the wood plaque.

Authentication: Letter of Provenance from Chris Kelly and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
