The Beatles’ Paul McCartney original handwritten lyrics to his solo song titled “Through Our Love“. This song appeared McCartney’s 1983 Album “Pipes of Peace“ and hit the top ten (#10 on the Billboard Chart). The lyrics are handwritten by McCartney in blue ballpoint pen on the back side of an off-white 8.25 x 11.75 sheet of paper for McCartney’s 1984 film “Give My Regards to Broad Street“. This page appears to be the original draft of the song, written as the words to the song came to McCartney. Most of the lyrics on this page made it into the final version of the song. Obviously, McCartney was working on both projects at the same time.
This is an extremely interesting look into the creative process of songwriting by one of the most incredible songwriters in generations! Accompanied by “Pipes of Peace” album and a “Give My Regards to Broad Street” soundtrack album for framing purposes. Very good condition.
