This lot comprises of two suits worn by John Lennon and Paul McCartney during The Beatles era. Each suit consists of Blazer Jacket, Shirt, Tie and Trousers. Both suits were donated by The Beatles Manager Brian Epstein to the famous Tussauds Museum in the United Kingdom. Tussauds which is a historic Museum, had asked Epstein for suits to display on their waxwork models within the museum. As the models were made to scale, Brian Epstein donated their personal Beatles suits to ensure that they fit perfectly. Once the suits left the museum, they were then put on display at Elstree TV studios in London. Identical suits also appeared on several very famous national television programs in the UK including "This Morning with Richard & Judy" also "Schofield's Quest with Philip Schofield" and several others. From there, they ended up in the hands of a Private Collector. The previous owner is one of the largest memorabilia collectors in the UK and was the chief organizer of the British Memorabilia Live shows every year at the National Exhibition Centre in the UK. Very good condition. Comes with a letter of provenance and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
