An incredibly rare original 1965 Beatles signed tour program poster insert. Each Beatle has signed above his respective image. George Harrison has signed in blue ballpoint pen, Paul McCartney in black ballpoint pen, Ringo Starr in red ballpoint pen and John Lennon in black ballpoint pen. John has also added the dedication, "To Anne love" to the left of his name. The pen did not take for most of Lennon's surname which has resulted in skipping and some lightness to the signature. The autographs come with a letter from the original recipent that reads, "I confirm that on Saturday 4th December 1965 I had a ticket for the Beatles show at Newcastle City Hall. My dad's uncle by marriage, Bob King, was at the time working for Arthur Howes. My grandma gave him my ticket number and he took me backstage to meet the Beatles. They signed the autographs in front of me while watching television." The poster is machine folded so that it could be inserted into the concert programme. Measures 34.5cm x 52cm (13.5 inches x 20.5 inches). The poster has been stored well and is conservatively graded in very good plus condition.
