Baseball Legends at Toots Shor’s Restaurant Original Oversize Photograph (14 X 11)

Fabulous double-weight original photograph taken at the famous Toots Shor’s Restaurant, whose patronage included the most famous celebrities and athletes. Measuring an impressive 14 X 11, this famed image once appeared on the back cover of the restaurant’s menu. Among the baseball legends photographed are Jimmie Foxx, Mel Ott, Mickey Cochrane, Rogers Hornsby, Ed Walsh, Tris Speaker, Cy Young, George Sisler, Charlie Gehringer, Charlie Nichols, Pie Traynor, Ty Cobb and of course proprietor Toots Shor. The verso is stamped by New York City photographer Bill Mark. The few examples of this photograph to ever surface publicly were among those given to each player in attendance. Small paper chip is missing from the upper right corner. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
